Mogadore BYOD

Mogadore Local School District provides WiFi access to teachers and students. By law, this access is filtered and recorded. None of this data is tracked or recorded off campus. Using this access requires a certificate to be installed on the device as well as being signed in to your 'Mogadore.net' google account. 

After connecting to the wireless network, follow the directions below that pertain to your device to install the certificate. After installing the certificate, you may need to restart your phone/device. This certificate is required for the wireless network to work properly. Failure to install the certificate will result in inaccurate filtering and an unstable internet connection. 


ANDROID DEVICES (PHONES AND TABLETS)

  1. Download the certificate from here: Click Here! 
  2. Open with defaults.
  3. At the Name the certificate screen give the certificate a name (whatever you like) and press the OK button.

Please Note: You must have a screen pattern lock or password on your device to be able to do this.


IOS DEVICES (IPHONE/IPAD/IPOD/APPLETV)

  1. Download the certificate here within SafariClick Here! 
  2. Click on the downloaded file and press the Install button.
  3. You will be prompted with a warning message that says, "Installing this profile will change settings on your iPad." Press the Install Now button.


MAC (OS-X)

  1. Download in the installer from hereClick Here!
  2. Open up the archive and run the installer.

Please Note: In some instances this does not work and a manual install is required. Please follow the instructions here.


WINDOWS PCs

  1. Download the installer for Chrome Click Here! and for Firefox Click Here!
  2. Run the installer - you need admin rights on your device to do this.

PERSONAL CHROMEBOOK

No action is needed - please sign in with your school account. Private accounts are not supported.
