Selective Service - U.S. Military
Men between the ages of 18-25 must be registered with the Selective Service. According to law, men have 30 days from their 18th birthday to register with the Selective Service. Registering with the Selective Service provides our Nation with the structure necessary to provide the most prompt, efficient, and equitable draft possible should the country need it.
