Meet the Counselor

Mrs. Janet Warren became the school counselor at O.H. Somers Elementary and Mogadore Middle School in August 1998.  She was transferred to the position of Mogadore High & Middle School Counselor in August 2010.  Prior to coming to Mogadore, Mrs. Warren taught in the junior high at St. Joseph Elementary in Randolph, Ohio. 

In addition to being a Licensed Professional School Counselor, Mrs. Warren is a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as a National Board Certified Counselor.  She serves as site-supervisor for intern and practicum students pursuing their Master Degree in School Counseling.  Mrs. Warren was honored by Kent State University as their "School Counselor of The Year 2014".

Mrs. Warren received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Art Education from Kent State University.  She continued her education at KSU earning a Master of Science Degree in School Counseling, an Educational Specialist Degree in Counseling, and the designation of Doctoral Candidate in Counseling Education and Supervision.
