District: Mogadore Local School District serves the educational needs of the Village of Mogadore, which spans 2.16 square miles.  The district consists of one elementary school building and one combined junior/senior high school building utilizing a K-6, 7-8, 9-12 grade level configuration. The student population ethnicity consists of 0.1% American Indian or Alaskan Native, 1.6% Multiracial, 1.6% Hispanic/Latino, 0.7% Black or African American/Non-Hispanic, and 96% White, Non-Hispanic.

 Accredited by The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce, Mogadore High School is a comprehensive four-year public high school enrolling 265 students in grades 9 through 12.  The dual-functioning Mogadore Junior & Senior High School building serves a population of 381 students enrolled in grades 7 through 12.   

Curriculum: Mogadore High School’s academic program is organized on a yearlong schedule.  Seven (7) credits per year is the typical maximum course load.   21 credits are required for graduation.  The current curriculum includes state-mandated courses and the following:

10 Accelerated/Honors/Advanced courses: ELA Adv 9-12, Pre-Calculus, Biology Adv, Chemistry Adv, Physics Adv, Band Acc, and Chorus Acc

Two AP® courses: AP European History, and AP Psychology

College Credit Plus: CCP allows eligible students in grades 7-12 to take classes at local colleges or universities to earn college and/or high school credits. Currently, 37 students participate in CCP.

Class Rank: A cumulative, weighted GPA reflecting Advanced/Honors/AP/CCP course loads is used to determine exact class rank and Valedictorian and Salutatorian.

GPA Calculation: Final grades for all completed courses are used in the semesterly GPA calculation.  Courses, final grades, class rank, test scores, and cumulative weighted and non-weighted GPAs are reported on high school transcripts.  7-semester GPAs are run in January.
