On Friday, August 26th, before the coin toss of the Mogadore/Ravenna football game, a moment of silence was given to honor Al Shannon.
Al was a long time Mogadore fan who volunteered in many different capacities in the community throughout his life and served on the chain crew for football for over 40 years.
Mr. Shannon's three sons Mark, Greg, and Steve participated in the coin toss with Wildcat Captains Zeke Cameron, Bo Lanham, Austin Constantine, and Corey Lehner.
Mark is shown tossing the coin. Referee proclaims "tails never fails" Cats won the toss.
